Strong Parent Involvement

Churchill Road’s PTA is an important part of our school culture.  Parents support through a variety of ways whether as a Room Parent, being a volunteer during the day, investing in school resources and programs. The PTA’s  goal is creating opportunities for families to build strong community relationships and well as support all students in many ways.

After School Clubs include opportunities for students to practice their cooking skills, read books, learn chess, participate in theatre, as well as participate in Fitness activities and build Legos.

Embedded into the curriculum are opportunities for students to discuss and reflect on the skill needed as a graduate of Fairfax County Public Schools and beyond.  Students learn how to communicate, collaborate, set goals, and build resilience…… The school year ends with students presenting how they have grown in these areas from Kindergarten through 6th grade skills
