AAP Information Session:

We will host a virtual Advanced Academic Program information session on Thursday, October 5th at 8:30 a.m. via Zoom.  *Please note this is a new date/time.*  We will provide an overview of the Advanced Academic program and the referral & screening process for full-time services.  Please visit AAP Parent Information Meeting Link to register for the Zoom session.  A recording of the presentation will be made available for parents unable to attend the virtual session. 

Ability Testing:

Parents of children in 3rd – 6th grade can request a one-time retake of either the CogAT or NNAT.  If you would like to request a retake, please email our School Test Coordinator, Nick Kilpatrick  @email, and our Advanced Academic Resource Teachers (AART), Esther Lee @email and/or Christine Neubauer @email, by September 15^th for the CogAT (grade 3 and up) and October 15^th for the NNAT (grade 3 and up). 

Fall Screening Window:

The fall screening is available for students who are new to FCPS since January 1, 2023.  The fall screening referral window is from the first day of school - October 15.  Referral forms for full time AAP services are found at https://www.fcps.edu/node/38893.  Please contact AARTs, Esther Lee @email or Christine Neubauer @email for more information.  Referral forms can be emailed to AARTs.
